This report aims at critically analysing ‘EMIS group’ company from the UK Software and computer services industry. In this process of critical analysis, the business need analysis of EMIS group is carried out followed by analysing the capital structure and dividend policy of this EMIS group. After identifying the impact of capital structure and the dividend policy on the company performance levels, the way in which investment appraisal tools can be used by EMIS group is analysed in this report. Finally the effectiveness of corporate governance system is analysed followed by concluding statements of this report.
