The present study aims to investigate the linkage between corporate governance practices and the efficacy in working capital management of the selected pharmaceutical companies in India. A sample of top 20 Pharmaceutical companies listed in BSE is selected based on their Market Capitalization. In order to examine the association between corporate governance practices and the firm’s efficacy in working capital management, the study employed Pooled OLS Regression Model (as suggested by the Breusch and Pagan Lagrangian multiplier test). The findings of the study bring to light that there is no noticeable linkage between corporate governance practices and the firm’s efficacy in working capital management after controlling the effect of firm’s size.
