The dynamic nature of commercial aviation demands a cohesive strategy that aligns service delivery with corporate identity and passenger expectations. Corporate Communication Principles in Inflight Service Design: A Strategic Integration Model explores the intersection of corporate communication frameworks and inflight service systems to enhance brand consistency, passenger satisfaction, and competitive differentiation. This proposes a strategic integration model that embeds core corporate communication principles clarity, consistency, credibility, and connectivity into the design, delivery, and continuous refinement of inflight services. Airlines serve as complex communication environments where every crew–passenger interaction, service element, and sensory touchpoint transmits brand messages. Yet, disjointed service experiences often undermine intended corporate values and erode customer trust. By reorienting inflight service design through the lens of corporate communication, this model offers a unified approach to ensure that both verbal and non-verbal communications reflect the airline’s mission, values, and positioning. The integration model is structured across three dimensions; Strategic Alignment, ensuring service design reflects organizational goals and stakeholder expectations; Operational Translation, facilitating the conversion of brand narratives into tangible service routines, cabin aesthetics, and crew conduct; and Feedback and Adaptation, incorporating real-time passenger feedback and cross-functional communication loops to sustain relevance and responsiveness. Through literature synthesis and industry benchmarking, the model highlights best practices from leading carriers and demonstrates how communication-integrated service design supports brand loyalty, emotional engagement, and service consistency across diverse cultural and market segments. The proposed model addresses growing demands for personalization and transparency, and provides a framework for airline managers to co-create experiences that are both communicatively effective and operationally feasible. Ultimately, this advocates for a paradigm shift wherein inflight service is not merely functional, but a strategic channel for brand storytelling and trust-building in the aviation ecosystem.
